napkikens · iPhone
Effective 8 September 2026 · Version 1.0
The short version
napkikens is a sketching app made by Tomas Alonso. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and does not do with information while you use it.
Everything you draw — every napkin, every notebook, the brush and background you last used — is stored locally on your iPhone. It is not uploaded to any server, and the developer has no way to see it.
If you have iCloud Backup enabled, your napkins may be included in your device backup. That backup is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, and it is encrypted with your Apple Account, not with any key the developer holds.
Deleting the app removes your napkins from the device. There is no copy elsewhere to delete.
Notebooks is an optional auto-renewable subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple; the app never sees your name, email address, or payment details.
To keep track of whether a subscription is active — including across your own devices and after reinstalling — the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service acting as a processor for the developer. RevenueCat receives:
| Data | What it is | Why |
|---|---|---|
| App user ID | A random identifier generated on your device. It is not your name, email, Apple Account, or advertising identifier. | To attach a subscription to an install without an account. |
| Purchase history | Which Notebooks product was bought, and whether it is active, expired, or refunded. | To unlock Notebooks and restore it if you reinstall. |
This is reported on the App Store product page as Purchases and Identifiers, collected for app functionality and not linked to your identity. It is not used for advertising or tracking.
napkikens is rated 4+ and is safe for children. It contains no user-generated content shared with others, no messaging, no web browsing, and no advertising. Nothing in the app knowingly collects personal information from anyone, children included.
Because the app holds no personal data tied to you, there is normally nothing to request or erase. If you would like the anonymous subscription record associated with your install deleted, email the address below from the device you use napkikens on and say when you bought the subscription. Requests are answered within 30 days.
Subscriptions themselves are managed in Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Refunds are handled by Apple.
If this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the release notes of the app version that introduces them.
